AI summary

Lets you comprehend and create Runes, the backbone of the world's laws, and imbue your own designs into any part of your body by carving, branding or tattooing — a process that is excruciating and never becomes any less so, however often you do it. Runes are conceptual and grant absolute control over their concept in proportion to their size, growing stronger still when placed on a thematically fitting body part, such as a Fertility Rune over a womb, and they can be engraved on willing or unwilling subjects with the same agony. They are physically part of the body, so losing a limb costs you access to its Runes until it is restored, they cannot overlap and must each be carved and terminated separately, and while they remain subservient to their respective gods, no god can turn a Rune against its bearer or strip it away — a Time God can prevent you using a Time Rune, but cannot wield it against you.
